Stripe: 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction. Encore: 10% on Free, 5% on Pro. Everything else lands in your Stripe bank in 1–2 business days.

Is there really no credit card on Free?

Correct. Free is free forever. You only connect Stripe when you're ready to accept tips — and Stripe's onboarding doesn't touch Encore's billing.

Can I switch between Free and Pro any time?

Yes. Switch either direction mid-month; the fee rate applies going forward. Existing tips aren't re-billed.

What if I have a bad month?

Free tier stays free. Pro you can cancel in one click and drop back to 10% — no questions.

Does Encore take a cut of Venmo/Cash App tips?

No. Only the tips that flow through Stripe (card, Apple Pay). Venmo and Cash App tips go to your existing handle directly — we never touch them.

Are there add-ons or upsells I should know about?

Nope. What's on this page is the whole product. No setup fee, no per-QR fee, no per-song fee, no ‘premium skin’ upsell.

What about for bands splitting payouts?

That's coming in v1.1 as a Band tier (3% fee, multi-member payouts). For now, the bandleader takes the whole payout and splits offline.
