Terms of Service

By using Encore, you agree to these terms. Read them carefully — they cover payments, platform fees, content, and the limits of our responsibility.

Who we are

Encore is operated by Encore Live Music. “We”, “us”, and “Encore” refer to that operator.

Your account

You need an account to run an artist page. You're responsible for keeping your credentials safe and for everything that happens on your account. One account per person or act.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse the platform, or create risk for us or for fans.

Payments and platform fees

Tips and pay-to-queue payments are processed by Stripe through a Connect account in your name. Funds settle to your linked bank account on Stripe's schedule. We are not a bank, and we don't hold your money.

Encore takes a platform fee on tips and paid requests: 10% on the free tier and 5% on Pro. Fees are clearly shown before you accept a payment and may change with advance notice.

Refunds are at your discretion. If a fan disputes a charge, the dispute and any fees are handled between you and Stripe.

Your content

You keep ownership of everything you post — your name, bio, setlist, photos. You grant Encore a limited license to display and distribute that content as needed to run your artist page, printable QR, email updates, and preview images.

Don't post content that is illegal, hateful, infringing, sexually explicit in a way that targets minors, or that impersonates someone else. We can remove content that violates these rules.

Fans and requests

Song requests and feedback are submitted by your fans and are not endorsed or moderated by Encore. You decide what to play and what to keep. Offensive requests can be hidden from your queue.

Availability

We aim for high uptime, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance, third-party outages (Stripe, email providers), and unforeseen failures happen. Plan your gig knowing cash is always a reasonable backup.

Liability

Encore is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent allowed by law, we are not liable for lost profits, lost tips, or consequential damages. Our total liability is capped at the greater of $100 or the fees you've paid us in the prior 12 months.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time from the dashboard. Deleting your account ends your license to use Encore and removes your artist page. Payout records are retained as required by law.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced by email or in the dashboard at least 14 days before they take effect.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
